Sweet Potato Casserole for the Holidays

Every year on Thanksgiving and Christmas one dish always stands out, Sweet Potato Casserole. My Wife’s Grandmother made the best dishes, particularly on Thanksgiving and Christmas. She gave us her sweet potato recipe and it is terrific. Give it a try this year:
2 to 3 cooked sweet potatoes
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1 egg beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup milk
1 bag marshmallows
cinnamon to taste
brown sugar to taste
1/4 to 1/2 cup pecans, walnuts or macadamia
Mix first 6 ingredients together and place them in a casserole dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts.
Next, cover the entire casserole with marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees F until marshmallows are nice and brown.
