How to Make Your Printable Bridal and Baby Shower Games
by: Criss White
Bridal and baby shower games are a great way to spice up your shower party. Many games can be purchased affordably, but you can also make your own games with some effort. Here are some ideas for making your own baby shower or bridal shower games.
1) Baby or Bridal Bingo – Here is a game that you can make yourself on a word processor and print out on your own computer or at your local print shop. All you have to do is find baby or bridal related clipart images on the Internet and copy them into a grid. Make as many different boards as you need. You can even get trinkets like mini pacifiers that you can use in place of standard bingo chips.
2) Baby or Bridal Pictionary – This is another easy game for shower parties. Before the event, you must think of various bridal or baby related themes and phrases and then print them out on flash cards. You also need paper and pencils so that you guests can draw. The game will be played just like regular pictionary, but with your own phrases and themes.
3) Word Scramble – Start by writing out a list of all the bridal or baby related words that you can think of. Then scramble them up and print them out. Give a copy to each guest and see who can finish the fastest.
4) Candy in a Bottle – Fill a baby bottle with candy, like M&M’s and count how many. Have you guests guess how many are in the bottle and the person who guesses the closest wins the candy filled bottle as a prize. For a bridal shower, a normal jar can be used.
5) Bride / Groom Trivia – The host can obtain information from the bride to be and create a fun trivia game for the guests to see which guest knows the most about the bride to be or the groom. For a baby shower, the trivia questions can involve the mom and dad to be.

Bridal Shower Decorations
Bridal Shower Decorations
by: Trish Burrell
Your bridal shower decorations can be simple or elaborate depending on the atmosphere you are trying to create.
So, picture what you would like the room to look like. Are you having a small intimate party, or a large fun-filled one?
Giving some thought to your wedding shower decorations will help you achieve the perfect look.
If you are having a theme, decorate with that in mind. Choose appropiate props and colors. Party stores have a wide variety of items. Take a look ahead of time, to help with your plans.
If you’re not a having a theme, choose a color scheme. These may be the bridal colors, or the brides favorite colors. Choosing three shades of the same color creates a very unified look. Look again, to the mood you’re trying to create. Soft colors will convey a peaceful, romantic look, while bright colors are more dramatic.
In most cases, you’ll want to have three types of decorations: wall and/or ceiling, floor, and table. Let’s take a look at some ideas for each:
• Wall and/or ceiling will give an overall effect. Streamers, banners, draped fabric or tulle, swagged silk flowers, and balloons are just some of the items you can use.
• Floor items spread throughout the room are used for visual effect and color. Plants, large baskets, balloons, and theme props are some suggestions.
• Table decorations are your centerpiece, and place settings. Flowers in season, candles, and balloons are often good choices. If you’re having a buffet table, you may want to add some touches of color around the food. This could be single flowers, or colored confetti.
Have fun with your bridal shower decorations. Keep to what you think the bride-to-be would like, and you can’t go wrong.

Unique Wedding And Shower Candy Favors
Unique Wedding And Shower Candy Favors With Personalized Candy Wrappers
by: Chris Robertson
One of the hottest wedding and shower favor ideas these days is candy. Personalized candy wrappers with your name and wedding details offer an alternative to the traditional tulle and ribbon wedding candy, the ubiquitous Jordan almond. Whether you choose a bar of Belgian chocolate wrapped in embossed foil or a chocolate candy rose with a personalized ribbon and tag, personalized candy favors are the kind of sweet treat that guests love to take home.
Most companies that offer personalized chocolate candy wrappers give you a wide variety of styles and kinds of candy to choose from. A particular favorite with many brides are miniature 1-inch square chocolate candy. Bright foil candy wrappers are stamped with brides, grooms, wedding bells and doves to further the happy couple’s wedding theme. Full size candy bars with personalized wrappers average about $1.75 apiece. For a bit less, you can have your name and wedding date imprinted on Hershey’s miniatures like Krackel, Hershey’s Special Dark candy bars and Mr. Goodbars. A package of 100 miniature candy bars costs about $50.
There’s more to personalized candy wrappers than wedding bells, though. How about a chocolate or bubblegum candy cigar to announce the birth of a new child? You can purchase chocolate cigars with personalized candy bands or wrappers in “It’s a Girl” pink and “It’s a Boy” blue from any supplier of personalized candy bars. Nearly any occasion can be marked with personalized candy favors or gifts. Whether you’re looking for candy shower favors or unique, personalized fund raising candy, personalized candy wrappers could be just what you need.
Some of the more unique candy favor ideas that we’ve seen are outside the realm of personalized candy wrappers though. One of the most adorable is the bubble-gum buddy bride and groom. Using a full size gumball for a base, the maker uses royal icing to form clothing and features on two of the cutest little wedding favors that can grace your wedding tables. Other candy favor ideas take their cue from the season of the year. Miniature wreaths made of starburst peppermint candy are perfect party favors for the office Christmas party, for example, and candy corn makes great candy fillers for wedding and shower favors at Autumn weddings and parties.
Finally, any wedding favor that can be made with candy Jordan almonds can also be made with the quintessential romantic candy of all time – candy hearts. Whether you choose foil-wrapped chocolate hearts or candy conversation hearts for a more whimsical look, how can you go wrong? Candy hearts and romance just belong together – naturally.
